Vision: To tell some really good stories with our friends while we wait for the world to end, and maybe if they’re good enough it won’t.
Mission: We want to foster a community of like-minded and creative individuals to inspire a hopeful future through creative indie storytelling that subverts genres and expectations. We know that the climate is collapsing, democracy is eroding, society is fracturing, and it’s all powered by the single-minded pursuit of profit. But it’s a lot harder to fight if we’re depressed and if this really is the end a distraction might be nice.
Funding Model: Since 1973 County Fence Bi-Annual has been Jules Octavian’s labour of love and it may never have been profitable. These days Jules is talking about succession planning and even if money is the root of all evil, we’ve got to keep the lights on somehow. So our plan is to be transparent about our finances and work to the budget you set. Maybe this remains a labour of love, maybe it becomes a day job, maybe we get to self-produce a Hollywood blockbuster: who knows?! Let’s go on an adventure together. We’re going to figure out different satisfying ways for you to give us money and leave the rest up to you. If you’d like to support us check out our commerce page here.
